Some of the services that FACELIFT ELECTRICAL provide our customers.

Fuse boards

These consumer units/fuseboards (below) do not meet current British Standards (BS7671). This can be due to visible damage, eg, broken fuse carriers, no residual circuit device (RCD) protection, no capacity for additional circuits (requires more circuit ways), or wear and tear.

Examples of consumer units (below) which DO meet British Standards (BS7671), which will give you RCD protection to accommodate the upgrade along with the necessary MCBs (mini circuit breakers) to suit. This gives overload and short circuit protection for the final circuits, as well as the capability of isolating a faulty circuit at a faster tripping time.

Mains and low voltage

Facelift Electrical Services install two forms of downlights.

• One form is operated via 12v transformers
• The other is operated by mains supply, i.e 240v and does not require a transformer. Downlights come in different decorative finishes, such as brass, chrome, white, and are supplied as to clients’ specification

Garden lighting and patios

We can install garden lighting which works from a remote system (key fob) giving the facility to switch on garden lights independently in different areas of the garden. This works from a hand held 4 channel remote control unit.

Our garden lighting installations are protected by an RCD unit. We ONLY supply weatherproof fittings.

Door entry systems

Facelift Electrical Services install door entry systems with built in cameras, giving the facility to see visitors at the main door before allowing access via internal handsets.

Rewires

Facelift Electrical Services carry out complete rewires to domestic and commercial properties. We work to the latest edition of the British Standards IEE Wiring Regulations.

From a studio flat – upwards. We carry out a free consultation to discuss your needs. An experienced engineer will meet with you at a convenient time to assess your requirements. A detailed written quotation will then be forwarded to you for your approval.

All consumer units/fuseboards installed are RCD protected, giving you better protection for your home or business premises. If you are renovating, we can recommend trustworthy tradesmen to help with your plumbing and building requirements.

Cabinet lighting

This is a decorative feature for cabinets/bookcases etc, using spotlights and or rope lighting. Facelift Electrical works with bespoke cabinet makers to give you a totally individual and personal look.

Electrical testing/Fault finding

We carry out electrical testing and fault finding to domestic and commercial properties.  Testing will be carried out to check that your installation meets BS7671 standards for your safety and peace of mind.

We are qualified to the 16th and NEW 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (17th Edition coming into force 1st July 2008) and hold the qualification "2382-10 Level 3 Certification in the Requirements for Electrical Installations: BS7671:2008.

We are also qualified to 2391 - Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations.

CCTV/Security alarms/Lighting

Facelift Electrical Services install state-of-the-art security alarms systems for domestic and commercial premises.

The systems we provide are tailored to customer specifications and can be as simple or as advanced as you wish and can include PIR detectors, magnetic door catches, panic buttons, speech diallers, etc.

From a single camera to multi-camera systems, with colour or black and white monitors, the choice is yours. These systems can be installed separately or in conjunction with our door entry systems. Call us to discuss your particular requirements.

24 Hour emergency service

We cover a 10 mile radius for an emergency call out.
